Garryvoe Hotel Wedding Reviews

We recently had our wedding at the Garryvoe Hotel and we couldn’t recommend the hotel more highly. We had an absolutely incredible day! Their professionalism, expertise and kindness helped to make the day as enjoyable as it could have been. The function room staff kept the meal running smoothly, ensured that everything went to plan and made sure that we were well looked after. All of our guests have been nothing but complimentary regarding the hotel, with many mentioning that it was the best wedding they've attended in years!! Thanks again to the Garryvoe Hotel and staff!

Hi Aidan, Sinéad and I would sincerely like to thank you and your staff for putting on wonderful reception for our wedding day. Our minds were at ease since the our very first meeting. And on the day itself we were made so comfortable throughout the whole day. Liz and Kevin were so helpful and everything rang seamlessly. Ideal wedding venue. Staff are so helpful and professional and obviously very experienced at weddings. Lovely setting in Ballycotton Bay. Most guests walked the beach at some time. All our guests traveled and were very impressed with the hotel. The local band Gina and The Champions were amazing. We had a great wedding without a hitch. Compliments to the staff. We had our wedding in Garryvoe Hotel in December and we couldn't have been happier with the whole experience from beginning to end the staff were absolutely fantastic and very attentive. Aidan and Kevin were so easy to deal with making sure everything ran smoothly. The food was second to none everything was delicious we couldn't have been happier with the service. Garryvoe overall is such a beautiful hotel and with all the lights up for Christmas made it even better and the atmosphere there was just perfect. We would definitely recommend them and would not have changed a thing.

Garryvoe took our breath away from the moment we walked in for our viewing. Stephen, Aidan, Kevin, Maura and the whole team were on hand to help with every additional detail - nothing was too much of an ask!! All of our guests commented on the venue, the quality of the food and the location. The Christmas decorations add an extra special touch and made for some fabulous pictures. We were so happy we went with Garryvoe and can’t wait to come back to celebrate our anniversaries in the future.

Our first point of contact was Aidan back in September of 2020. From the word go all the staff in the hotel were above and beyond helpful. The entire experience was very chill as weddings are what they do and do extremely well. We had been to a wedding in February 2020 before everything went into lockdown and it was such a good wedding we didn’t look beyond Garryvoe for our own. We picked the October Bank Holiday weekend and based ourselves there for the whole weekend with a trip across to the Blackbird in Ballycotton for our day 2. The residents bar and library were perfect for the beginning of the reception as everyone could be seen and it was easy to mingle with guests and the staff are excellent at keeping the glasses topped up The ballroom is a perfect size room with many options for layout depending on the size of the wedding party. The food options were excellent and well priced. Complementary sweet cart and late bar option were super also. What makes this hotel is the staff - service is top notch with a special mention to Aidan and Kevin and also the wonderful Liz who looked after us so well the entire weekend. The rooms were really nice in the hotel and the guests echoed this sentiment afterwards adding the wedding room rate was excellent value. There is a really nice bar/restaurant on the corner of the hotel which was great for people staying 2/3 nights. No matter what time of year Garryvoe is in our opinion one of the best all round options for a wedding and worth considering for any couple looking for a place to celebrate one of the most important days of their lives. One thing we loved doing was going for a dip in the sea the day after the wedding - cold but great for setting you up for day 2. Looking forward to spending many anniversary weekends back there. We couldn’t thanks Garryvoe hotel management and staff enough for all the amazing help and support in the build to our wedding day. They were fantastic to deal with. You could ask them anything and they were back within a few hours. I would highly recommend them to anyone. We had an amazing day. ????

We had our wedding in this hotel and they couldn't of done anymore for us. So many of our guests commented on the setting, quality of food and the staff. Would highly recommend it as a wedding venue
